ARDENT YOUTH PROGRAMS

The goal of our Ardent Youth Program is to develop and improve physical literacy.  Our program is designed to create a healthy life long relationship with fitness.

We’d love to see your kids grow to love fitness and health!

Ardent Youth Programs

  • Ardent Discovery is for ages 4-7 (cap of 10 kids per session).
  • Ardent Kids is for ages 8-12 (cap of 15 kids per session).
  • No sport or fitness experience is needed for either program.

The program emphasizes proper movement and mechanics to enhance performance and eliminate injury. Research shows exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means the program can also have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement through the year. Ardent Discovery/Ardent Kids is a program designed for kids ages 4-12, no matter what their fitness experience is. Despite the physical demands on the class the focus of the program is on FUN. This program is a great, active alternative to sedentary pursuits.

Ardent Kids was established by Susan Phillips, MS, over five years ago. Susan has over a decade of teaching and working with students at different levels. While she does not coach the classes anymore, she still oversees the development and implementation of the program.
